The Binding of Isaac

The Binding of Isaac is a top-down roguelike. You play as Isaac, among many other characters, and fight your way through floors of enemies. There are a lot of religious aspects and references within the game. The opening cutscene for the game is all the Information you get when starting the game. The overall story is definitely interesting but I love the gameplay. Every run is different, different rooms to explore, items to find, and bosses and enemies to fight. I have over 740 hours in the game and still have not unlocked everything.

Skyrim

Skyrim is an open world RPG. One of the greatest things about the game in my opinion is how big the world is and how much content there is. The game is so big that you can beat the whole story without seeing over half of the map or experiencing over half of the game. There are so many different ways you can play and skills to level up. The story is that you were accidently captured along some people who were fighting a war. They were going to be executed for the murder of the king and you got dragged along. A dragon attacks the village as you were about to get beheaded, letting you escape. You later find out that you're the Dragonborn, the chosen one of sorts. You have the power to use the powers of a dragon, making you the only one who can stop the dragon king Alduin from destroying the world.
